Prof. Mohamed-Slim Alouini is the Al-Khawarizmi Distinguished Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Principal Investigator of the Communication Theory Lab, and holder of the UNESCO Chair on Education to Connect the Unconnected. He is an IEEE, OPTICA and SPIE Fellow, and an International Member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering.
He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology in 1998, with over 30 years of academic experience. His research spans MIMO systems, cognitive radio, optical wireless communications, and integrated space-air-ground-maritime networks. He has published extensively in leading journals and conferences, co-authored the textbook Digital Communication over Fading Channels, and served on the editorial boards of multiple IEEE Transactions. He is the founding Editor-in-Chief of npj Wireless Technologies.
A recipient of the IEEE Technical Achievement Award, TWAS Award in Engineering Sciences and many other international honors, he is committed to bridging the global digital divide by delivering connectivity to underserved regions.

Mohammad Syuhaimi Ab-Rahman is a Full Professor at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), specializing in optical communication systems. He joined UKM in 2007 and became a full professor at 33, a rare achievement in Malaysia. He serves as Director of Alumni Relation Center, holds a Malaysian Professional Engineer license, and was named one of Malaysia’s Top Research Scientists 2021. He has supervised 13 PhD and 16 Master students, published 297 journal papers, 196 conference papers and 30 books, obtained 6 patents, and led over 30 research projects totaling 17 million MYR. He frequently delivers keynote speeches at international conferences, acts as a research grant reviewer, and provides technical consultation for national government departments while offering research training for young academics.

Naveen Goel is a Senior Technical Program and Service Manager at Amazon, where he leads global technical teams for Ring and Blink device services. He brings over 23 years of IT expertise, including 16+ years in Technical Program and Service Management, with demonstrated success in multi-million-dollar complex infrastructure and modernization engagements. His current research and professional interests include Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI-driven automation, cloud infrastructure modernization, and data-driven decision-making systems. He has led the development of Custom AI Agents using GenAI and LLMs for interpreting unstructured data at scale, extracting meaningful insights from customer experience and sentiments. He holds a Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) and possesses certifications including Program Management Professional (PgMP), Project Management Professional (PMP), AWS Certified Solutions Architect, and Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions. He has held leadership roles at Cornerstone OnDemand, Wipro Limited, CSC (now DXC Technology), and STMicroelectronics, driving large-scale digital transformation and cloud adoption programs. He was a recipient of the Zurich CIO Award for extraordinary contribution to the  modernization of claims infrastructure. He is a senior member of IEEE.
